Candlewood Suites Layton - Salt Lake City by IHG

We stayed here as our house was being packed up and moved prior to a cross country move. I chose it because of the location, its amenities and how nice it looked. Its in a very safe location near plenty of shops and restaurants we liked. It is also relatively new so everything is in great condition. I loved the coffee maker (fresh ground) in the lobby. It had everything and was so convenient. The market is great and the laundry facilities were clean and fast. The rooms themselves are spacious and had everything we needed for our family, including toddlers, to live for a few days and not eat out all of the time. The bathrooms were nice and spacious. I was very impressed with it. The staff was also extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Overall a great experience.

Ive traveled a lot and stayed with several different chains. Candlewood Suites is VERY dog friendly! Clean, cozy but roomy studio lay out and VERY reasonable - i've paid a LOT more $$ for a LOT worse of a room! Easy to find and goid location. Thanks to the friendly courteous staff for a pleasant night!

My stay at Candelwood Suites was very comfortable. The bed was very soft and the room was clean. It was about ten minutes away from my family which made it really convenient. The shower had a handheld wand which made it easy for my to shower while I was there. They had a little amenities area where you could by food hygiene products or rent things you might have forgotten with tax already included in the price. The staff were very helpful and attentive. If you are taking a trip I would highly recommend any of the hotels in the Candlewood suites chain.

Very new and the staff is friendly. Free coffee available in the lobby. Recommended for people travel with dogs. Reasonable pet fee and also have destination charging for Tesla.

We've stayed here several times and it's always clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place. The employees are friendly and accommodating. I also love the kitchenettes they offer in the rooms, so you're not having to eat out at every meal, which leaves you not feeling so well.

Wow, we had an amazing stay. Really clean, great gym right by the desk so I wasn’t scared to work out as a woman alone. Rooms were super spacious with lots of workspace.

This was the perfect place to stay! The kitchen has everything you need: full size fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, and even a garbage disposal. It's stocked with basic supplies and anything else you need is available at the front desk. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful, large countertop, mirror, hair dryer and they have dispensers in the shower of Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The staff were wonderful and the location is great; close to shopping, movie theatres, and restaurants. Also, close enough to the I15 that it's easy to get to but far enough away that it isn't so noisy. The room was basically the same price as other hotels in the area without kitchens. Having the full kitchen meant I could fix my own food and didn't have to eat at restaurants so much which saved me quite a bit of money. The only cons are that the windows don't open and the TV was frustrating. You can stream TV from your phone but if you have an iPhone AirPlay only works for Apple TV. If you want to watch Netflix or Prime you will need to Cast it, not AirPlay it. Took me a while to figure that out, once I did things were fine. I will definitely be staying here again!!

We stayed for one night in a family room with two queen beds and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We appreciated the convenient amenities - laundry machines, dryers, and a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. The location is great, and overall it was an excellent value and a very pleasant stay!
